Basic Tangram Combos

In this clip, we're really going to get down to the nitty gritty of how to form those patterns. We're going to talk about the formation strategies. The basic combinations you can use to make other things. Two small triangles make a parallelogram. Two small triangles make a square. Two small triangles make a medium triangle. Put the square and triangle together, and put a parallelogram and a small triangle together. And, you have identical shapes. Put two small triangles and a parallelogram together to make a large triangle. Make a great big square with all seven pieces. Now, make two small squares. With these basic combinations, you can make just about anything.
