The next thing we are going to look at is what we call the hand, finger and grip strengtheners. I have a set here. These basically are used for strengthening not only the fingers but your hands, your wrist, even your forearms, your shoulders, everything. And you'll get a good little workout with everything on it. But you can use these for strengthening your hands for work on a speed bag later for work on a heavy bag. It will help in your jump roping. It's going to be a good all-around exercise. Very simple to use of course. But the thing is you should try to do it in like maybe the two minute increments like we do everything else in. A good place to use these is on the floor step upstairs, where you are actually stepping up and down the stairs. Each step you can just take an alternating grip on each one. You can use them while you are shadow boxing, and as you throw the jab you can actually squeeze them. You can use them when you are doing, you know, sit-ups. Each time you come up you can squeeze them. So there's a multitude of times you can actually use them. One of the other better times to use them is when you are taking a break. If you are taking a break, you know, in between maybe a ten round increment working on thirty rounds and you are watching what else is going on in the gym. You can actually relax and sit down for a minute or whatever. Get on the stationary bike; watch what is going on in the gym. Trying to learn some other things from other boxers and at the same time you are still getting your own workout.
