The next subject I want to talk about, is the focus mitts the punch mitts. Usually, the coach is working those with another boxer. Or, sometimes the two boxers can work in tandem. One of the boxers will hold the mitt and then the other one punches. And, then they'll take turns and then switch. So, it's always good to be on both ends of the mitts. There's several different sizes of the focus mitts. And, several different designs. This is your standard punch mitt. This one here is more of a canvas. It's a good all around punch mitt. But, it doesn't have the particular features that some of the other ones that we're going to discuss in just a moment. But, this is your good basic all around punch mitt. And, it's good to have a variety of different punch mitts in the gym. The next one we want to look at, is what they call the coaches punch mitt. These are designed so that when the coach puts them on or even another boxer, it still gives a good target area for the opposing boxer to punch. But, it also gives a glove like apparatus so that the coach when he sees an opening that boxer is leaving himself open he can actually reach in and give the boxer a little tap up aside the head. So, these are very good for two boxers working in tandem or the coach to remind the boxer to keep his hands up. If you don't get any other punch mitts in a gym, get a pair of the coaches punch mitts. The last one I want to talk about is what they call the micro mitts. These are a little bit smaller. But, they're also curved. So, they're more of a precision more of a focusing on the actual dead center type punching where you're really trying to get that accuracy in there. But, it's also curved a little bit so that you can get a more resounding punch into it. So, these are a little bit smaller the micro mitts. These are also better to work with your junior boxers as well.
