Choosing a Guitar Strap

Let's take a look at the guitar strap, or a strap suitable for any other instrument that needs one. There are a wide variety of straps available, some of them very decorative, some very plain. This is a suede leather strap that has a nice back that grips your clothing so the guitar or other instrument doesn't slide, something this is important that you may want to evaluate when you're taking a look at straps. You may prefer one that is decorative. You may prefer just an inexpensive nylon web, however, the nylon web ones, with a heavy guitar, are not a good idea, nor is another narrow strap because that strap gets very cutting after a little bit as that guitar or instrument stays in the same spot on your shoulder. For that we recommend that you go with a wider supple kind of strap that distributes the weight evenly so that your shoulder doesn't get tired and you don't get this feeling you're being cut in half.
