Let's take a look at a traditional, classical guitar. This is an intermediate grade instrument that is suitable for beginners or intermediate level people. It features a solid spruce top, and a laminate sides and back made of highly figured ovangkol wood. This wood stains up very beautifully, and is highly striated and figured. It's a very popular wood now for guitar builders.
