This is an acoustic guitar that is an affordable, yet high quality instrument featuring laminated woods on the sides and back, and a solid soundboard of solid wood. This one, in particular, has a cedar wood for the soundboard, which produces a slightly mellower sound than the brighter tones that come from the lighter colored spruce top. This particular instrument features rosewood in the headstock for an extra added value in an overlay, standard neck, standard size neck, and standard bridge and fittings here. The finish on this, however, is mahogany sides and back with a slightly dulled, or what you'd call a satin finish, which is more appropriate for a little improved tone according to some people. There's a lot of personal preference in these kinds of guitars. Each one will have a slightly different voice.
