Beginner Flute Tips

Now let's take a look at a student level flute. This is a standard flute that a beginning and intermediate person would use to learn to play the flute. It's played by blowing across the tone hole here, and not everyone can play a flute. Some people simply can't control the wind to make this instrument work. Occasionally that's a problem with a reed instrument like we looked at earlier with the saxophone, but normally the sax you can play. The flute, you may or may not be able to play, and these are tried out oftentimes in elementary and junior high school to have people examine and see what might work for them. The flute is controlled by pressing down on buttons and levers, they close holes to control the air column length, and adjust the pitch of the sound coming from the end of the flute.
