In Game Tips for Playing Chinese Checkers
Hi! My name is Carlos Ramos Jr. coming to you on behalf Expert Village and today we're talking about the game of Chinese checkers. We've pretty much gone over everything, we've taken care of all the steps, you know how to make the moves, you pretty much know how to play the game. So what I'm going to do I'm going to join a game in progress and just talk you through a few steps of the game so you can see how the flow of the game goes. So we take this game for example here and the blue has gone first so now it is the reds turn, so we join this game in progress and the red would probably go here. What's going to happen is the blue would go here to set up a possible double jump option to move up forward, so do you see where I'm going with this? Okay so for example if the red wants to move here that's fine, blue wow, wow. Now, he's way ahead of the game, alright, now the red needs to be careful not to go here because then they'll setup another jump opportunity so. As the red should be doing is kind of getting out of that situation, remember when I said planning ahead and going forward, alright. Definitely would want to move here so to move forward a little bit more, okay. Now what the red would want to do is kind of block this situation, block this opportunity here and if that the blue doesn't move he's going to setup a jump opportunity. It kind of forces the blue to move out of the way and you know to avoid that jump so you have to plan strategically in your moves so you know where you're going. Let's move something out of here and I think the blue will probably want to do the same thing. So there you go, you see how the game is moving and the rules are very simple with the strategy and planning ahead and having back up plans is what makes this game complicated and fun actually.
