Setting Up the Game of Chinese Checkers
Hi! My name is Carlos Ramos Jr. coming to you on behalf Expert Village and today we're talking about the game of Chinese checkers. Now we just went over the board and the players so let's try it and setup the board now. Obviously player 1 has already set their board up, so let's go ahead and set ours up. We're going to go ahead for simplicity purposes play a 2 player game here. Make sure again that you are positioned across from the opposing player and that you have 10 pegs of a separate color from this person. Chinese checkers games will come with multiple colors about 6 different colors, so you can go ahead and choose your favorite color. Now, when you're placing them in here in these holes you want to make sure that you're setting them up from the bottom here so that way you don't end up going pass the hexagon, pass your triangle and into the hexagon area. Because remember you don't 10 holes here to fill, so make sure you're filling in the appropriate holes and that you're not going past where you need to go. For example if you ended up up here somewhere, that's wrong, so make sure that your filling the very, very bottom of that triangle, see if you could see that there, the very bottom of the this triangle so that you can go ahead and start the game up. Now if there were 2 more players, that next player would play here and here, and here and here. So, board's all setup, we're ready to go ahead and play.
