Beat Detective Loops in Pro ToolsBeat Detective is the tool that?s me quantize the live audio and you quantize it to the way I want it to quantize. What I can do first is open up my Beat Detective and I will just show you a Few things about it. A few operations are a bar and beat generator a grove tempo extractor a region separation and region conform and edit smoothing. The things that we are going to be using are the reign separation. The reign separation is basically going to help you capture the selection and then analyze the selection so that you could find out where the cuts are and once you find out where the cuts are you can separate it. After you have your pieces separated the next thing that you can do is conform it and by choosing which machine and what kind of groove you want we can quantize the audio. I am going to be using the MPC sling so after you have chosen the MPC sling you capture th selection and you conform it and it should be all set.
