Creating a Click in Pro Tools

The last thing I'm going to show you how to do in this section is how to create a quick track. Quick track basically is just a click that goes along with the bpm, basically like a metronome. What I can do is I can create a new file, not a new file, but a new track, an audio track. Let's make a mono one. Go to inserts and go to instrument, quickly. As long as my tempo is right, I can play the song and it'll click right with it. I can also change the accent and the un-accent by the decibel level. If you feel you don't need it anymore, you can mute it. You could also solo the click. When you're all set with it, you could also use it, for when you're bouncing down tracks as a good point to start off and keep time.
