Hi, this is Sean Hobson. One important thing we want to talk about and focus on here is being an offensive rebounder, you have to understand that once you get the ball, you have to try to attack the basket once again, because that's the most important thing that you're doing. As an offensive rebounder what you're trying to do is you're trying to get second shots at it. And especially our post players, one thing that we've got to understand, when you get an offensive rebound, you've got to keep the ball up. Because as soon as you get the rebound and you bring that ball down, there's going to be defenders that are looking to steel the ball. You've got to get the ball, you've got to keep it up, and you've got to try to attack the basket. So what we're going to show you here as we kind of walk through this is, this is going to be our offensive player, so switch around, on offense, Zack you're going to be offense, Ben's going to be defense. So as the shot goes up, Zach's going to storm in. He's going to get the rebound. You're going to see when he gets the rebound, he's going to keep the ball up high. If Ben contests him for the shot, he's going to keep it up high, but at the same time he's going to shot fake, try to get him up, and then step through. So, show them how we finish an offensive rebound. Here we do, ready? Good, you saw he got the rebound, he had good footwork, he brought it down, he kept the ball up, and he scored it immediately. Offensively you've got to get that ball and go right back up with it and try to score it, that's your job. That's why you're there rebounding, to give second chance shots, and capitalize on every opportunity you get.
