Let's play our B Flat tonic major arpeggio. 1st Scale degree, B Flat, second finger. 2nd Scale degree, D natural. 3rd At natural, we switched strings to the D string. (Audio demo) Let's go over our 4th scale degree, which is a B Flat. It's played, the B Flat is now played with your first finger on the A string. First finger on the A string. We've now switched from D to F natural, 3rd scale degree, to A string B Flat.
