Hello! My name is Maureen Browne and on behalf of expertvillage.com, we are here in this clip to talk about what to expect from a midwife during her postnatal visits. After a baby is born, a midwife will offer counsel and breastfeeding support. If you have your baby in a hospital, they will visit you daily or more often as necessary. However, if you do have your baby at home, a midwife will see you on day 1, day 3, day 10, at 4 weeks, and at 6 weeks and even more often if any issues arise.
