Violin String Names

Now, I'm going to introduce the open strings to you, in case you don't know them. All right, here we go. First we have a G string. It's our lowest string on the violin. It's also our furthest string to the left. That's our G string. Next we have our D string, one of our middle strings and the second to lowest sounding string on the violin. Next is the A string, another one of our middle strings on the violin. And last but not least is our E string, our highest string on the violin, plus our furthest to the right. Okay, here it is. So, we have our G, our D, our A, and our E.
