Wrapping & Storing Soap
Before we wrap our soaps, we want to make sure we cure them for 48 hours, then they will be ready to wrap for gift giving or ready for use. So we have a few ideas here, and it just depends your liking for gift giving. We have some wrapping paper here, some ribbon with stickers and we have used some metallic netting with this one, cellophane is a good one or cellophane bags. These are especially fun if you have a neat design such as our rolled soap that you want to show through for gift giving. Some of our soaps are just so unique that we want them out whether you are selling these at a craft fair, there just fun to see the lufa scrubby, so we just tied some natural raffia around that one without any paper wrapping. Just as we did here with our kitchen herb bar. The bar itself is exposed with the scent as well and all we used is some brown paper grocery bags and wrapped a strip around it for the ribbon and fun ribbons really make these presentable. Even the little accents such as these, this is our gardener soap so the leaf is a nice touch there, same thing with the ends exposed and this is just plain parchment paper that you would use for baking. And even something as simple as this, it's just plastic wrap that we have tapped on the back so that you can still see the design, it's perfect for gift giving. And if your soaps are wrapped and sealed in plastic they will have a much longer shelf life. These are just a few ideals for wrapping and gift giving your homemade soaps.
