Chunky Soap
We're going to use up our scraps from our cookie cutter soap, and we're going to make some chunky soaps here. By taking these scraps and cutting into half inch and one inch scraps, we're just going to chop with our knife, and we're going to fill up our mold with some of these chunks. And whenever we embed things in soaps, we're going to give them a spritz with some alcohol here. I'm just going to finish chopping a couple more up here. And it's okay to have them stick out, that's what's going to give your bumps after they embed in there and when you go to wash it feels really good. They'll melt down too, but they're nice, just to reuse these pieces up. And we're going to give those a spritz of alcohol. And over here I have melted some of our olive oil soap and I have put in some of the white colorizing powder, that will give it some real pearlescent look, and some lavender essential oil. And then we're just going to pour that right over that, try to fill it up. Wups! I put a little too much on that one. And then we're going to let these set up. Okay, our chunky bars have set up and they look like they're ready to pop out. So we're going to give it a pinch and just by pressing in the center, take it out, there's one, and there's the other. And you can see that by using our leftover scraps, we've made these great bars, that, in the shower, are going to feel great! And those are our chunky soaps, using our leftover scraps.
