So now we're going to tune our C. We're going to tune it to the same pitch that our orchestra bells are. And I'm going to show you how to do that using our metal grinder here. First, we're going to thread through, so that we can hold the pipe without muffling the sound with our fingers. Alright, now that we've got our pipe threaded, I'm going to tie a knot so we don't lose it. Alright, great! So we've got our pipe and now we're just going to try playing it and seeing what pitch we come up with. Now, let's play a C. So, we're very close or a little bit flat which is just what we were aiming for. So what we need to do, we need to shave a little bit of this C off. We're going to do that with our grinder, making sure that our face is behind the shield, and making sure that our grinder is plugged in. We're just going to grind, a little bit of the grinder, a little bit of the copper off of the pipe. Alright. Now, we want to make sure we don't do too much because if we go sharp, there's no turning back. Let's try it now. We're at a perfect C pitch. This worked out quite nicely.
