Now, we know we want our strings to be eight inches long. So, we're going to cut them all right off at the beginning to make sure they are all exactly uniform so that we don't have a discrepancy in the length of our notes from the bar. We want this to be all, we want every note to be the exact same length sitting underneath the bar. So we're going to make a little note on our work table here to make the cutting easier. We're going to mark off eight inches. So now we have our eight inch markings on the table. We're just going to go ahead and quickly make the cuts. We want to make them good cuts because remember we're going to need to thread them. So they need to be clean so we don't have split ends. That's two, we need eight because we have eight notes. Three, four, five, six, seven and this is our final one, eight. So now we have our eight strings which we are going to use to suspend our notes from the xylophone holder. We're ready to start cutting our notes.
