String Length for a Copper Pipe Xylophone Part 2

And what we're going to do is we're going to thread it through our xylophone holder. Since this string is so small it's very easy for it to slip out of a hole after you've done all the work to get it to thread through, so you have to be very careful with it, I would say ginger. Do it gingerly. OK, we're got it threaded through there. Now, we're going to ever so carefully thread it through our xylophone holder. Ah man, I lost it. Got it put it back through our, no I'm going to see if I can do it without the needle this time. It is possible. It's just harder. OK, we did it. So, now I have a sample of how far down this is going to hold and that's perfect. So eight inches is going to be our length for the string. And we're going to mark that on our diagram so that remember that the string length is eight inches. We're ready to move on.
