So now that we've talked about how to tune a xylophone to have it match up with the orchestra. We're going to talk about how we're going to tune our copper pipe xylophone. Really that means how we're going to get our notes or our sections of copper pipe to get to that perfect pitch, which is a very hard thing to do. But it's very possible at the same time. And again we need our grinder and we need a piece of copper that we're going to use on our xylophone. So, how we're going to do this is, we make it a little bit longer because the longer the pipe, the more metal that's in there, the slower the vibrations, and the lower the pitch. Because we know about the physics of sound, we know that when there's more of a substance vibrating that vibration is going to be lower and the pitch is going to make a lower note. So, we need to speed those vibrations up just a little by little bit. So that we can get to that exact perfect tone. And the way we're going to do that is by taking little shavings off the bottom of our pipe with our grinder. And we're going to do that for every not that we make today.
