Displaying Foam Flower Crafts for Kids
Now I'll show you a quick and easy way to display some of your fun foam flower bouquets. I'm just using an old wine bottle and a piece of tissue paper and some ribbon to make a vase for our fun foam flowers. Old wine bottles are great because they add some weight to the flower arrangement so it won't tip over. And the paper, you can add some beautiful color to our arrangement. So you put the bottle on the center of the tissue paper and then just sort of gather up the paper around the bottle, like that, and tie it off with a pretty ribbon. OK, now we'll just place our flowers in here. You want to just put your flowers together. I have a few sprays that we made, the purple ones, and I have some of our basic flowers. And just put them together in a nice arrangement. And we'll just put that right into the wine bottle. The narrow neck of the wine bottle keeps the flowers nicely in a bunch. And then you can bend around those flower sprays. And then add a little bit of a vine here to give it a little bit of a green trailing color. Now I'll show you how to make a quick and easy flower arrangement in a short vase. I have one of these small, kind of fish bowl vases. First I'm going to take a piece of tissue paper and just push that into the small vase. And you want to leave four corners kind of poking out, that gives it a nice, frames the bouquet very nicely. And we're going to use some of our flower sprays, and our leaf spray. This arrangement, you can make a nice posy arrangement with lots of these flower sprays. Or, what we're going to do is add in our daisies and use the flower sprays and leaf sprays as a filler. Now remember, with the short vase you're going to cut your skewers short, and you can cut your skewers as short as you want, depending upon what size vase you're using. And there's our beautiful and fun and bright colored flower arrangement with our foam flowers.
