Now I'm going to show you how to make a basic fun foam flower, where our basic flower is going to have five petals. And we're just going to cut a basic flower petal shape, which is just this shape here. Now you want to make five of these shapes, and you can make them in sort of a graduating size. You can make some a little bit bigger than the others. You can also fold your fun foam. Fun foam is very easy to use. You can fold it and cut two at once. Depending upon how sharp your scissors are, you can cut even more. And you can make these petals, you don't have to be so picky about the size and the shape. You just cut them in a basic petal form like this. Now, what I usually do is, after I have my petals set up, I put the smaller ones -- I put them in order by size. And then, you cut a little snip on the bottom of each petal, about a half an inch to an inch long, like this, on each petal. Right up the center from the bottom, a little more than a half inch.
