Attaching Leaves to Vines for Flower Kids' Crafts
When you have a bunch of leaves that are pre-cut and you've pierced them, you want to just weave our leaf onto the pipe cleaner. Just pull it right down to the bottom and leave a little bit of an end so that if we want to add this to a skewer, or if you want to add more pipe cleaner to the end, you can do that. Use a variety of leaves. You don't have to use the same color of green for the whole vine. Just weave them on like that until you've got enough on your vine, and then we'll arrange. When you're putting them on it doesn't matter what direction they're going on as long as they're headed up. Later, I'll show you how you can shift them around to get a little different look. Just weave it in and out the holes that we pierced, and slide it down. You can leave a little bit up on the top and what you can do with that is take a skewer or a pencil, and just sort of twist it around, and then that gives you a nice little curly-q end. You can bend the pipe cleaner and vary the leaves; one this way and one that way for a nice trailing vine.
