Fouls After a Shot in 9 Ball Pool

Alright here's a scenario of a foul on a shot. The three ball is the lowest ball on the table so that's the object ball that I must hit first. Alright so you might go for the three in the side and what happens is that you follow it up and the cue ball went in too, so now it's a foul. What happens there is the three ball stays down, your opponent then gets to come up and get ball in hand. He gets to place the ball anywhere he wants. Now the next shot is the four ball, so he can place the ball anywhere he wants. He would probably set himself up something like this where he can make the four, stop the cue ball, and have the five in the side giving himself position. So there's your scenario for the first one scratching on a legal shot. Alright in this next clip we're going to show you the foul of scratching with the cue ball, but a scratch by the cue ball jumping off the table. Alright so you might do something like this, the lowest ball on the table is the four and you could be shooting the four in the side and the cue ball jumps off the table. Something like this. You see the cue ball jumps off the table. Now no ball went down, but because it flew off the table it's a foul your opponent gets ball in hand to shoot anywhere he wants. The last scenario is when you don't hit the right object ball first and that's also a foul and you lose your turn. Let me show you what I mean. Okay here's the scenario. I have the four ball, it's a really tough shot so I might just try to cut it just enough to make the four or even play a safety shot, but if I hit the five first it's no good. So this would be something where if I try to make the shot and I hit the five first like that, it's a foul. Your opponent then gets to take the ball anywhere he wants and put it, since it's the four he'll probably set up something nice and easy where he can play the four and have the five in the corner. So there it is, whatever ball is the lowest one has to be hit first. If you don't hit it first it's a foul and your opponent gets ball in hand.
