Types of Illegal Break Shots in 9 Ball Pool

In this next clip, I'm going to show you an illegal break shot for 9 Ball. Alright, so there's a couple of illegal ways you could have a, there's a couple of ways you could have an illegal break shot in 9 Ball. The first one is scratching with the cue ball. A scratch is when you hit the balls and the cue ball goes in one of the pockets. That automatically, you lose your turn, it's a foul, and your opponent gets ball in hand. Ball in hand means that he can place this cue ball anywhere he likes, on the whole entire table. That is the first scenario. The second scenario is that you break, you hit the cue, you know you hit the cue ball into the rack, you break the balls and the cue ball jumps off the table. That's the same as a scratch. You lose your turn and your player gets ball in hand to shoot anywhere on the table. If during this any of the object balls are pocketed, they stay down except for the 9. If the 9 gets pocketed, it gets brought up and spotted on the other side of the table on the spot. And the last thing for a foul is if you break the balls and one of the object balls fly off the table, you lose your turn but your opponent doesn't get ball in hand; he shoots the cue ball from wherever it lies on the table. And those are your three different scenarios of an illegal break shot in 9 Ball.
