Picking Women's Freestyle Ski Boots

In this section I'm going to be demonstrating and showing you the different functions of a typical women's freestyle boot. As you can see here there's a four buckle system that goes all the way up the boot. These two bottom buckles are to tighten and loosen where the top arch of your foot is, and these two upper buckles are going to tighten and loosen the boot that touches the part of the ankle. You'll notice right here there's also a top strap. This allows you to furthermore tighten the top boot because what you don't want when trying on boots is you don't want your heel to lift out of the back, but you don't want them too tight so it's cutting off the circulation and being uncomfortable. You also want to try on a few different types of boots just because everyone has a different size foot, and different boot manufacturers make a different style and size boot depending on different feet. So what you want to do is go into your shop, don't just pick the one that is visually pleasing. You really want to try on the boots and see which one fits the best because your pants are going to be covering a large part of it anyway, so if it's a boot that maybe is your second or third choice on the visual coolness level but fits really, really well, you're going to want to go with that boot just because you want to have comfortable boots. If they're not comfortable when you're not skiing, they're not going to be comfortable when you are skiing. And with jumping and learning freestyle tricks, you want them to be as comfortable as possible so you can have as much fun as you possibly can and so you're not worrying about your feet hurting the whole time, and you can worry about progression and learning new tricks. This is a typical women's freestyle boot.
