Making a Balloon Tiger & Heart

Now, at the beginning of the video, we showed you these little hearts. These hearts come in all different colors. You've got pink, green. I thought it'd be nice to do a boy's heart; for a change. I've got the little straw, and we're going to just tie the end of the balloon, and we wrap it into the little holes, here. Wrap it several times; one, two, and again; so it sits nice and firmly; the wind catches it, it's not going to blow away. Take one of your little animals you've already made. I'm actually using the cat we made earlier, because I'd like to show you how it can change into a little tiger. Now, there's two different ways. You can either do regular stripes; like this; it doesn't take too long; or you could be really creative. After all; he's your tiger, and you can just color him any way you like. I'm just showing you how to do little markings; little shadings on him; little patches, like an animal fur. When I make these for children, it takes rather a long time to get all those markings on the body. You can do little packing?s; little shavings like this; like cheetah's patches, and tiger patches. The whole idea of this tiger is just to have fun; to be creative, to shade him; color him anything you like. It's even fun just to give the child a pen, and together, I'm sure you'll have loads of fun. When I make this for children, I always sing the little tiger song, because he looks rather like tigger. I sing to the kids; the wonderful things about tiggers are tiggers are wonderful things. Their tops are made out of rubber; their bottoms are made out of spring. They're flouncy, bouncy, and fun, fun, fun, fun, fun. The wonderful thing about tiggers is, he's the only one.
