The Disccraft Elite APX Disc

This is a typical disc golf bag, and today we're going to talk about fifteen different kinds of discs that I would use for shot selection around the course. The next disc that I have here is actually a Disccraft APX putter, and I got this at a garage sale for fifty cents. And this is the best thing that I have ever gotten from a garage sale. And I didn't even know what I was getting before I got it, but this is actually one of the most reliable putters I have seen. It's Disccraft instead of an Innova, so you're talking about two different companies. I'm a West Coast guy so I throw Innova just because that's what I know. I know that Disccraft's another national company, but the APX seems to be a disc, that for me, that if I can throw this with the wing up and the nose down and at the very end of my release I give it a snap, this disc has an incredible distance to just fly straight. And it will fly a hundred feet straight as an arrow, where with the Innova's and the Aviar putters that I would throw from Innova, those discs tend to, you have to get the wing up a little bit more and create more of a hylex to get certain distance. And that's obviously just for me, I see other guys out there that throw ways that I don't even understand how they do it. But for me this APX seems to be, when I'm chasing my birdie and I'm going for it from fifty feet away, I have a tendency to try to just go with my APX and throw it straight into the basket, unless I'm just going to lay it up and most of the time it doesn't matter what I'm throwing for that. But this is definitely my birdie chaser. I try to throw this one at most straight shots that I have. If I have to get around an obstacle, this isn't the disc that I use, just because this disc seems to be more straight for me compared to the Aviar from Innova. Those ones seem to be able to work around obstacles when I need them to as long as I'm able to get them to move, where this one seems to be the straightest flier in my entire bag. So again, this is the Disccraft Elite Pro APX, and a great disc!
