The Side Arm Disc Throw

Next, were going to talk about different ways of throwing discs and different grips for throwing discs. So, what I'm going to show you next is the concept of a side arm throw and for putting. And, me personally, I try my hardest to get it but it takes a lot of time and a lot of practice. It's just like throwing a tomahawk throw for me I try to keep my hands inside that thumb rack. Again, I try to create a little bit of space in my hips. Try to get my balance all balanced out and straight. And then, I mainly I understand that when I throw the disc at this angle right here, its going to float off to the left. So, if the baskets at noon, I'm shooting at two o'clock again. And, really the most important part of this is keeping this elbow into my side as much as I can. Especially when I need distance. But, with shorter ranges I don't really have to worry about it. So, I'm keeping my elbow in. Keeping the flight path as flat as I can with just a little bit of an angle. And, I'm just flicking with my wrist.
