Choosing a Midrange Disc

Next we're going to talk about disc selection and different shots that you can use for different holes. Shot selection here at hole "7" at Westmoreland is a pretty fairly easy hole. It's only two hundred and ten feet, and the tee pad is actually sloped down so it's not too rough of a shot. But it definitely, you have to understand what each disc is going to do. So for me on this hole, I would actually, being that it's two hundred and ten feet, I wouldn't be able to throw one of my distance drivers because that would overshoot the hole way too much. So the best option for me probably would be a mid-range disc. And being that we've got a tail wind behind us, an over stable, over stable disc with a tail wind is going to work a lot better for me with this shot.
