Violin Tone Tips

Now let's go over our tone how to get a good sound out of the violin. Remember with your bow hand you want to have your pinkie curved, your first finger lying like that and you want to be relaxed. You don't want to grip the bow, you don't want to grip it, you want to hold it gently, stroke it nice. Now let's apply this to our violin skills, now remember don't play like this don't force because you'll get this rigged sort of sound. When there is no space in between the bow here and the wood of the bow it means that you are pressing down way to hard. It should look like this with your scales you also don't want to get a fluffing sound. For your scales you want to practice with a nice full whole some sound so let's start like this. (Playing violin) This is how you should sound.
