E Minor Violin Scale: 8th Degree

Now let's play our scale once again. (playing violin) E natural, F sharp, G natural, A natural, B natural, C sharp, D sharp now let's go over our eighth scale degree which is the same note as our first scale degree it's an E natural but this time it's played with our fourth finger on the A string, take a look. (playing violin) Between D sharp our seventh scale degree and E natural, our eighth scale degree is a half step. Because between scale degrees number seven and eight is always a half step in a melodic minor scale.
