E Minor Violin Scale: 7th Degree

Now let's play our scale once again. (playing violin) Second finger on the F sharp, third G sharp, fourth A, fifth B, sixth in sharp. Now let's go over our seventh scale degree which is a D sharp. It's played with a high third finger on the A string; let's take a look. That is our D sharp. Now between C sharp our sixth scale degree and D sharp our second scale degree is a whole step. Because between sixth and seventh and the melodic minor scale is always a whole step.
