E Minor Violin Scale: 3rd Degree

Let's play our E minor melodic scale again. We start with one our first scale degree, first finger on the D string, second degree F sharp (playing violin)so let's no go over our third scale degree. Which is a G natural played with your third finger on the D string. Between F sharp and our second scale degree and our G natural is a half step between 2 and 3 in a melodic scales is a half step.
