Let's play our G minor melodic scale again. (playing violin) First scale degree, second A natural, third B flat half step away from B natural, C natural, fifth scale degree. Now let's go over our sixth scale degree which is E natural, it's played with your first finger on the D string. So we switched strings now first finger D string, it's not E flat E flat would be right next to this. It has to be E natural.
