Hi, Let's play our G minor melodic scale again. (playing violin) G first scale degree, second scale degree first finger on the G string. Now let's talk about our third scale degree which is B flat, it's a half step away from our A natural. Cause in a melodic minor scale half steps are between two and three and seven and eight.
