F Minor Violin Scale: 3rd Degree

Let's play our F melodic minor scale. (Playing violin) Scale degree number one, second finger on D string, G natural third finger from the D string. Now let's go over our third scale degree which is A flat remember because between two and three in a melodic minor scale is a half step. That is our third scale degree A flat between G and A flat is a half step. Remember fourth finger D string, A flat is our third scale degree.
