Texas-Shaped Coaster: Final Cork Gluing

Okay, I'm getting towards the end here. I'm going to spread some nice glue and continue our pattern. This one's going to be going in the opposite direction. Let me get a thin one here. I'm going to break this off. Stick it right up in there. For some reason, this cork doesn't want to stay down so I might have to give it a little bit more glue. Okay, this one's going to need a little more. Okay, we're getting close to the bottom now so let's kind of push these in as best as they will go. That's one line. Our next line will overlap the edge. Get them up there close like that. We'll need one more little cork for the end here. Let's see if we can find one that'll cover that. That's pretty close. Let's cut it off right here. Let's stick it on. So, we'll go back over it now and press everything down pretty well. Now, what works for me sometimes is to just put a weight on this, like a brick. I could do that right now but for the sake of speed I'll just do it like this. You press it down and let it sit for a while.
