Texas-Shaped Coaster: Band Saw Cut
O.K. now I'm going to cut out this little outline of Texas on my ban saw. If you don't have a ban saw you can use what's called a coping saw, and its a little hand saw with a big round back on it. You can get it at your local wood shop or home store, and cut it out by hand. So first thing I'm going to do is set the guide down close just enough so that this will fit in there and that's going to hold my blade steady, and I'll start from this side and just go around these curves. I didn't make any acute angles in this because they're hard to saw. We got to stop I have to put my glasses on I can't see.
