Summary: In the 1990's, Reggaeton became popular in the Latin cultures among teenagers and young adults, blending the influences of Jamaican and island sounds with traditional Latin and Cuban flair. Taking the dance beats from hip-hop and rap together with Jamaican dance hall music, the style has crossed borders and boundaries to become one of the fastest growing emerging genres in the music world. Though primarily popular with teens, Reggaeton is spreading like wildfire across radio stations everywhere, as young and old alike tap their fingers and toes along with the infectious beats. Naturally, a particular style of dance has emerged to accompany it, and the steps are easy to learn: you've come to the right place.

In this free instructional video, enjoy a virtual Reggaeton dance lesson with our expert dancer and entertainer, Seth Gordon.
