Summary: Cubase is an excellent digital audio workstation, or DAW. In today's world of digital recording there are many different choices of software. Some, like ProTools, are very hardware based and require a lot of effort to transport. Others, such as Cubase, are just as easy to use and require no hardware to operate the software. It's like having a full studio on your laptop that you can travel anywhere with and work on any time. Cubase has been around since 1989 and is now one of the premiere software applications for recording and editing music in this world. It has a cult following of engineers just as ProTools does.

In this free Cubase digital recording video series, audio engineer Kini Knox teaches you all about the equipment you can use recording digital music at home and what to do with it. Kini goes over all the tools you need as well. You will find tips on setting up your MIDI recorder, hooking up a keyboard, using the mouse, sound systems, headphones, mics and more. Kini also covers sampling sounds, editing with Cubase software and system requirements for your computer.
