Summary: Ultimate Frisbee is an exhilarating and exhaustingly athletic game. After only a few minutes of playing a pick up game of Ultimate Frisbee, you will find that there is more running than in a game of soccer. Ultimate Frisbee can be described as a hybrid of soccer and football. There are two teams, two endzones, one field, and one Frisbee. The game begins with a "kickoff" as one team yells "Ultimate!" and throws the Frisbee to the other team. The receiving team then passes the Frisbee to each other as in soccer, but once a player has caught the Frisbee the player must stop and throw it to another teammate. There is no tackling and the Frisbee cannot be taken out of an opponent's hands. However, if the Frisbee is not caught by a teammate or is intercepted by the opponent, the opponent gets the Frisbee. A point is scored when one player throws the Frisbee to a teammate in the endzone. There are various rules for this exciting sport and numerous techniques for playing Ultimate Frisbee that you can learn for free from one of our experts.
