Summary: The development of skateboarding coincides with the popularization of surfing in California around the 1950's. Since that time, skateboarding has seen many rises and falls in popularity, with several generations of young skaters developing the sport and their own skateboarding tricks and techniques. The current generation of skateboarders is more accepted and less rebellious than previous generations, and often skate on city built skate parks designed for a variety of skateboarding tricks.

The 360 flip is a combination of the kickflip and the 360 shove-it backside. In this free video series, a sponsored skateboarder will teach you how to perform a 360 kickflip varial skateboarding trick, as well as several variations. After learning what a 360 flip, or three flip, is and how it works, you'll learn how to place the feet for the trick and how to perform a 360 flip. Next, you'll learn how to do a 360 kickflip fakie, a 360 kickflip down, and common mistakes to avoid when doing these skateboarding tricks. With these tips, you'll soon find yourself doing all kinds of skateboarding tricks in the park, off of rails, and on the way to the X Games!
