In this series of free instructional arts and crafts videos, you’ll learn tips on how to make your own handmade greeting cards with envelopes. Expert Heather McCanna teaches you techniques on making various types and styles of greeting cards, including money cards, pop-up cards, vertical and horizontal cards, and demonstrates how to create your own brightly colored moving character card to add fun to the festivities. You’ll also get advice on the best materials and supplies you’ll need, like construction paper and markers, as well as tips on where to find these resources.

About the Expert

Expert: Heather McCanna has been making cards for ten years. She teaches craft lessons to Elementary School children, and regularly volunteers arts-and-crafts time to a local high school. When not working in arts and crafts, Heather teaches gymnastics to young children and plays a number of musical instruments.
