Summary: In today's world of digital recording there are many different choices of software. Some, like ProTools, are very hardware based and require a lot of effort to transport. Others, such as Digital Performer, are just as easy to use and require no hardware to operate the software. It's like having a full studio on your laptop that you can travel anywhere with and work on any time. Digital Performer has been around for as long as ProTools has and is now one of the premiere software applications for recording and editing music in this world. It has a cult following of engineers just as ProTools does and is just as high quality.

This is a fantastic informational series on how to use the Digital Performer software. Our expert takes you step by step through all of the most important aspect of the program including how to set up and begin a new session, how to add midi and audio tracks to your session, how to record and how to add plug-ins and effects to your tracks. By the time you are done with this video series you will be very familiar on the endless possibilities that DP has laid out in front of you.
