Summary: Music is in our blood as human beings. Since the dawn of man we have sought to create sound using tools and instruments. Only in recent developments did we begin to form words around these tones and and use them to begin writing what would turn into songs. Today there are literally thousands of instruments so even though it may seem daunting to choose one to play it is possible and we are here to help

In this free video series our expert, Richard Sheff, will give you some tips on dozens of the most popular instruments in the world and tell you just a few features about each so that you can decide for yourself if it is an instrument you would enjoy playing. The basics are covered of course such as guitar, piano and violin but he will also take a look at the mandolin, drums, trombone and saxophone. So take a gander and choose wisely!

About the Expert

Richard Sheff he has been playing music since the 50's and he has been teaching guitar for years. He also works in a music store selling wind, string and keyboard instruments for the past 10 years.
