Summary: Laminate trimmers are scaled-down versions of wood routers used to trim excess laminate. Typically, veneers intended as furniture laminates are cut larger than the intended area, then cut down to size during the lamination process. One of the keys to creating a successful woodworking project is to have the right tools at your disposal.
