But the choice to home school involves a great deal of responsibility for both parent and child.

In this free video series, our expert will show you how to teach your child first grade math lessons. Whether you are home schooling your first grader or simply want to encourage your child's math skills, our expert will go over some basic math lessons to help you help your child. You will learn how to teach kids how to count change, use addition and subtraction tables and do two and three digit addition or subtraction. About the Expert

Expert: Matt Moskal is a free-lance artist with a BA in Elementary / Special Education. He has taught Kindergarten through 6th grade in the Philadelphia School District since 2003, using his own easy drawing techniques and self-made worksheets and booklets. Matt found that his students often responded more quickly and easily to his simple but very visual teaching style than to many of the conventional textbook materials and methods.
