About the Expert

Samantha Taylor has been around cars all of her life, her father put her in a car when she was just 3 years old and was racing by the time she was 5. She Attended the Jimmy Sills sprint car school in June of 2007. Samantha finished 6th in her first career Sprint Car A-Main feature at East Bay Raceway. She finished 3rd in her first 410 Sprint Car heat to make A-Main feature at the East Bay Raceway. She drove for ITI Performance/Hunter Manufacturing/About Time Glass at the 2007 Chili Bowl in Tulsa, OK. Samantha was the Ford Focus Rookie of the Year at Grays Harbor and finished her rookie season 3rd in points at Grays Harbor. She had 4 wins in her Ford Focus Midget rookie season and 3 wins in her sophomore season. Additionally Samantha is the first female to win the Ford Focus Midget event at Grays Harbor and Yakima Raceways. She swept the inaugural Fred Brownfield Memorial Weekend Midget races at Grays Harbor Raceway and received the largest payout ever for Ford Focus midgets in the United States, at $1,092. Additionally she is a 12 year veteran of Quarter Midget racing.
